126 hand-verified scholarships totaling $5.27 million in awards as of launch. We add 10–20 verified scholarships per week. Every listing is checked against the sponsor's official site by a human — we don't scrape aggregator sites.
What's the average dollar value AimScholar surfaces per user?
It depends on your profile. High school juniors with strong academics typically see $700K–$1.2M in matched opportunities. Adult learners and graduate applicants typically see $300K–$1M in fellowships and grants. The average across our six sample personas is $597,000.
What's in the Gap Analysis — and why is it the differentiator?
For every scholarship you're "Borderline" or "Not Yet Eligible" for: exactly what's missing, how hard it is to fix, and the deadline to fix it by. Prioritized as quick wins, medium lifts, and long games. This is the feature that turns AimScholar from a search engine into a coach. Nobody else does this.
Will the AI write my essay for me?
No. We refuse to. Admissions officers can spot AI-written essays and they reject them — and frankly, the whole point of an admissions essay is your voice. We coach: line edits, structural feedback, brainstorming for the angle you haven't found yet. Your voice. Your essay.
Who pays — me or my parents?
Either. Most parents pay because they see it as cheaper than a college consultant ($1,500–$5,000). Many students also pay themselves and earn the cost back from the first scholarship they find.
How is this different from Scholarships.com or Fastweb?
Those are databases — they show you everything and let you sort. AimScholar is a coach — we tell you which ones to actually apply to, why you'd win, and help you write the essays. We also don't sell your email or show you ads.
What grade or level should I be in?
We're built for grades 10 through 12, current undergraduates, Master's applicants, PhD candidates, fellowship applicants (Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Schwarzman, Fulbright, etc.), and adult learners returning to school.
I'm a parent — what do I see?
A read-only weekly digest of your student's progress. You don't see their essays. You see what scholarships they're applying to and what's coming up. It ends the "did you do your applications?" dinner conversation.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your profile is stored in your browser until you ask Match to run. We never sell or share data. We don't show ads. Privacy principles The Dutch Mentor has held to for 30 years.
